    Jeff Smith is the Founder of RIISnet. During the start up phase from 2003 to 2008 Smith was actively involved in all facets of RIISnet, including development of patents, business and investment strategies, and overseeing all operational management.

    Smith, a licensed pilot at age 17, began his career in the aviation industry, where he became a talented turnaround expert working for and consulting with major distribution and manufacturing firms.

    Prior to forming RIISnet, Jeff Smith was a successful commercial real estate broker for 14 years. Mr. Smith became a leader and innovator in the commercial real estate industry using many of the same principles that proved to be invaluable to him in the aviation industry. After observing and identifying the inefficiencies within the commercial real estate industry, Smith created RIISnet to make a more efficient and profitable marketplace. Mr. Smith’s technology vision and expertise are guiding the creation of a truly revolutionary commercial real estate transaction and brokerage model.

    Mark Polon, CCIM

    Mark Polon, CCIM is President of RIISnet. His duties include overseeing all company activities and serving as primary liaison to clients and the real estate brokerage community.

    Prior to joining RIISnet, Mark Polon served as Senior Executive Vice President for Prudential CRES, a national commercial real estate franchise system, and prior to that as Vice President of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate.

    Mark was also President and founder of Polon Ventures, a commercial real estate brokerage, training, and consulting firm. Polon has more than 25 years of experience in the purchase, management, appraisal, and sale of commercial real estate. Over his career, he has provided expertise and training to a distinguished list of clients including the United States Government, commercial banks, thrifts, savings and loans, for and not for profit corporations, and private individuals.

    Executive Vice President, Business Development

    Bob Young, CCIM is Executive Vice President, Business Development of RIISnet. His duties include directing the company sales efforts for both National Accounts and its National Broker Network, furthering RIISnet’s relationship with the real estate brokerage community.

    Prior to joining RIISnet, Bob Young served as Business Development Director and Broker for Coldwell Banker Commercial JME Realty, a regional company serving the northern Gulf coast. His duties included brokerage, recruitment and training of the commercial sales force. He is a CCIM designee and member of both I.C.S.C. and NAIOP.

    Bob also spent 25 years in the health care industry, focusing on business development and administration of a series of facilities on the Gulf Coast for public and private corporations. His duties ranged from Hospital Administrator of a community hospital, to Vice President of Baptist Health Care Pensacola, to C.O.O. of West Florida Hospital and Strategic Planning Coordinator for the northern Florida division of Hospital Corporation of America.

    John Robert Rivenbark
    VP, Product Management

    John Robert Rivenbark is Vice President of Product Management for RIISnet. His responsibilities include analyzing and ensuring the quality of RIISnet’s online product and coordination of marketing efforts toward overall company objectives.

    Prior to joining RIISnet, John served as Marketing Director and Usability Engineer for CTS, a software development company serving enterprise-level organizations across the US and Europe. His duties included creative direction, website management, interface development, and management of the firm’s partnership with Microsoft. He has designed online products for national energy utilities, financial organizations, and government agencies.

    John also runs his own consultancy, Rivenbark Media, which creates premium marketing and e-commerce websites for small to mid-sized businesses. The company also provides graphic design, software product management, project management, and usability testing services.
